Indie Music...

Ok so im listening to the xm on the old school rap channel and this song comes on thats pretty good, so i look up the artist and i can't find the song on any of their albums, i go to the site that i get my music from and they only have the comercial albums, and as i reasearch deeper and deeper everyone says this song is the shiznit but no one knows how to get it. how irritating is that? At least the anthrax songs that were hard to get like friggin in the riggin were crappy so that when you heard them you didn't go oh i gotta get that that's hot, no these songs are known to be some of their best but difficult to find, so after hunting thru the blogsphere for long enough i finally found a place to dl it, i got to the point where i would have paid for it on itunes (if i didn't have all those free songs ;) ) but they didn't have it nor did anyone else. what good does that do? does it make the hardcore fans that much cooler cuz they have some cassette with it? that was the general concencus. yuck. well fuck you hieroglyphics and fuck you souls of mischief. put out a b-sides album. so that we can hear your good songs...

after reading this it makes me sound like a grumpy old man. and DJ Quik came on the XM and i think that's more like it, then i realize this song came out like fucking fourteen years ago, and that kids today probably think of this like i thought of run dmc. wow im getting old. i'm a crochety old man that's not willing to dig thru the stacks anymore to find the songs that i want. so i'm a spoiled old man. damn. that's depressing.
