Hollywoodland

I enjoy dective stories. the more hard boiled the better. So when i saw trailers for this movie i was interested. I was not disapointed. it was quite good. Adrian Brody was really good, which was nice, he was really good in the pianist as well. So when i looked up stuff on IMDB about the people that made this movie it's pretty impressive, the writer hadn't ever really written anything i had ever heard of except for some episodes of 21 jump street, and the director had only directed some episodes of the Sopranos. an episode of the x-files called all souls? Mark you remember that one? i don't. it was in 1998 so i don't know if that was after the show got crappy or not. bob hoskins was rad too as usual. if you are looking for a hard boiled detective story, with a surprisingly upbeat ending, that takes place in fifties hollywood check it out. its pretty good.

I've heard good things about this movie as well! I don't remember too much about that episode of The X-Files, but I do remember that it wasn't bad and looking at the episode guide, it was before Mulder disappeared, so that was still the good times.
